The Washington County Skill Center is an accredited post-secondary facility that provides high quality technical training services for Southwest Virginia, Northeast Tennessee, and surrounding areas. The Skill Center seeks to provide students the opportunity to obtain the skills necessary for employment acquisition, retention and advancement.

We offer technical training programs in six main areas: Administrative Support, Dental Assisting, Diesel Truck Technician, Industrial Welding, Machining, and Medical Assisting.

If you are interested in taking classes at the Washington County Skill Center, the first step is to investigate our many program options. A full description of each of our programs is available on our website.

Once you determine the program that interests you most, you need to download and complete our printed application, or complete our online application (coming soon).
