Certificate Programs
CNC/Conventional Machinist Program
Graduates of this program will have the skills to use blueprints developed by an engineer to machine complex parts using milling machines, lathes, and grinders.
Students will be fully trained to operate CNC machines including the MAZAK Lathe
and Mill which are the area industry standard.
Admission Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred. Students may attend classes during the course to obtain their GED.Curriculum
(Open Entry) 30 instructional weeks or 900 hours Contractual Enrollment with Virginia Highlands Community College.Class is offered at our Branch site on campus of Virginia Highlands Community College.
