Industrial Welding Program

Graduates of this program will have the skills for a wide range of manufacturing and industrial applications including production of storage tanks, trailers, pollution control systems, armaments and many others.

Admission Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred. Students may attend classes during the course to obtain their GED.

Curriculum

(Open Entry) 30 instructional weeks or 900 hours
Contractual Enrollment with Virginia Highlands Community College.

Credentials

Entry Welder (American Welding Society)

Potential Occupations

Combination Welders, Tack Welder, Arc Welding Machine Operators, Gas Welding Machine Operators.

Average Annual Salary:$18,000 to $30,000
